New York City
The Consortium for New York City
The Consortium is a partnership of City Harvest, Food Bank For NYC, and United Way of New York City with the shared goal of ensuring that all New Yorkers have access to the food and resources they need to thrive.
Together we provide over 200 million pounds of food each year to nearly 1,000 local partners across the five boroughs. These partners include food pantries, shelters, churches, health centers, education providers, and other trusted community-based organizations. Our work is centered on leadership from these partners and the neighbors we collectively serve.
We use our networks, assets, operational capacity, and expertise to streamline the food distribution process for our partners on the ground, so they can best serve people where they are with the food they need. We together represent the voices of our networks and those we serve to advocate for federal, state, and local programs that strengthen our communities and our city.
